The OtauGames On-line league which was the first one in France to organize a 24 hours race invites you to join its new challenge: the OtauGames Virtual Endurance Series - OGVES championship! Drivers swap on a 6 hours race, specific mod, varied and atypical tracks, everything you need for a good race is there. Forget all the endurance championships you have ever known: do you thought you have nothing to live anymore ? Join us and we will give you a new thrill!


An enthusiasts championship:
Thanks to its strong experience alongside GTR Racing HFR in the organization of endurance races, OtauGames On-line events are a guarantee of professionalism for each virtual driver. Organized by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, the OGVES championship is no exception to the rule with its high standard of quality, both for its organization and its racing level, all in friendliness.

Be ready to discover a new way for endurance racing. Drivers swap every 3 hours comes to its end as you would now be able to do them during an open time interval in order to keep the excitement of the race! Also, the manager job is reaching a never seen before level of strategy with a Safety Car ready to go on track after a crash.

Of course all the must have for this king of event are available: a Live Timing to have the real time standing of the race (thank you to Thortoff for this tool), Web-TV live broadcast during qualification and race, gifts, and a video after each race with the best actions on the track.


A new mod:
Based on the GTR Evolution game which have a stable online gameplay, the GT2 mod for the OGVES championship has been developed to get the best of the competition: a huge work on the car physic, restricted and shared setup for every driver of the same team, enhanced sounds and choice between 4 types of tires, these are only some examples of what you are going to get.

Exciting tracks :
A lot of work has been made for the tracks choice too : mix of curves, rhythm, speed, each track is going to give you off a lot of adrenaline! This choice ensures that each driver will enjoy the race and have a lot of fun.

Hi,

We have planned a practice race on the HTTT Paul Ricard GT layout, and this race is opened to everybody.

To enter the race server you will need :
- OGVES 2010 mod
- OGVES 2010 fix
These files are available on the downloads area.

Servers names :
OGVES 2010 S1/2/3

Schedule :
- Server opening at 20h00 for a 1h00 practice session (free practice 2)
- 21h00, qualifications starting for a 30 minutes session (qualif).
- 21h30, Warm-up starting for a 10 minutes session.
- 21h40, green flag for the 45 minutes race.

Important :
Drivers have to do at least 1 pitstop during the race and it's advised to be connected on TeamSpeak.

Starting procedure :
When the lights are green the driver on pole position will have to lead the formation lap at 80 Km/H. Once he has crossed the starting line at the end of the formation he will be allowed to race at full speed. The same rule applies to each driver of the field : you have to cross the line before to be allowed to accelerate.

I dont know if im blind or something but i cant find any date? I think it would be also nice to know what time that is? GMT+/- what?
And i presume this is the track http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=15419 am i right? Or wrong? what i usually am..

The track should be included in the mod, haven't downloaded it yet so don't know for sure but i guess it's there.

So your times are GMT +1 ? That is the correct way to inform international guests, you should really make your announcements in that format.. How should we suppose to know that you are using French time if you don't state it anywhere. I don't even know what timezone you are using in France, is there summertime/wintertime savings etc. Otherwise, as with all other european websites tend to do, you should announce all times in GMT+/- format, for ex. "race starts at 21:00 (GMT+1)" or somewhere in the post there is a line for ex. "all times are GMT+1). That way we non-french, which you are eager to have in your league, knows what timezone you are announcing it from and you don't have to care who comes from where in the world.
