Alpine Hills is genuinely demanding track with beautiful mountain scenery. Course is 13.9km long with elevations up to 350m. It has 55 tough corners, 28 left, 27 right. You can see screencaps here and here.

If you’re interested, reply to this thread. You’ll get the track zipped and password protected in advance but you’ll get the password at the very last minute (well, the last 15 minutes to be exact).. The scheduled practice starts at 18:00 GMT, the raceday is sunday (5. of June).. The car class at the moment is Radical SR3 230 but it may change.

It is reality and the wait is over. The first Scandinavian Cup starts in few days and there is still few spots left. But we expect to have some late joiners coming at the very last minute so sign in now.

Cuppiin ilmoittautumisia ei ole vielä aloitettu mutta jos oallistujia tulee tarpeeksi ajamme Cupin kahdessa divisioonassa. Tämä tarkoittaa että ilmottautumisia otetaan lähes 50kpl joten varmasti mahdut mukaan. Cupin suunniteltu alkamispäivä on 8.5.2011 ja kisa ajetaan sunnuntaisin klo 21:00.

Tämä tarkoittaa myös hiukan muutoksia SimRacingSuomen täyssuomalaiseen ulkoasuun. Etusivu tulee kääntymään englanniksi ja luultavasti sisältää ainoastaan Scandinavia Cupin tiedotusta; kisaraportteja, videoita ja pistetilanne tulee suureen rooliin. Foorumin rakennemuutosta ei ole vielä pohdittu mutta sielläkin tulee enemmän lontoota olemaan. Suomalaisia emme tietenkään unohda vaan suomenkielinen foorumi tulee säilymään joka tapauksessa.

Scandinavia Cup 2011

This year we have a real feature for all Scandinavian drivers. We just got the news that SimBin Studios will be sponsoring the prizes: For he 1.st place: The lot.. meaning everything published between Race07 and the upcoming GTR3 will up for grabs! Race07, RaceON, GTR Evolution and STCC plus all the addons that have been published at the time the cup finishes. For the 2nd and 3rd places gain you all the addons published..

The planning is still actively going on but the start date is scheduled 8.5.2011 and the races will be driven 21:00 EET (20:00 CET). The enrollment hasn’t started yet but if we get enough drivers we will be driving in two divisions with promotions and demotions happening between races. You can state your interest of joining at the forum: LINK (registration required for posting, can be done here: LINK) Everything is happening fast and the planning stages are in full swing so now is the time to make your voices heard the most, give as your suggestions.

This means a lot of changes in the website. In the past we have been exclusively Finnish racing community and that is about to change. This frontpage will become english and will contain all the important info about the Cup; race reports, results, videos and whatnot. The forum will get some of it too, the english section no doubt will play a bigger role there too.

SRS Ranking kerää kaikki ajat mitä SimRacingSuomi servereillä ajetaan. Etusivulta löytyy nyt linkki SRS Ranking sivulle, linkin löydät ylälaidan valikosta.

Tiistaissa ajetaan ensimmäiset kahdeksan viikkoa PTSimsin GT2010 modilla ja nyt vuorossa GT2 luokka. Porschella on vielä pari paikkaa auki joten vuosi lähtee mukavasti lähes täydellä gridillä liikkeelle.

Perjantaissa on enempi kaljarallia kun Mini Cup 3 törähtää liikenteeseen. Tiukkoja paikkoja ja pientä kontaktia luvassa.. Mahdollisesti Perjantain kisoja voidaan ajaa ilman salasanoja, tästä voi lukea lisää foorumilta. Lisää kuskeja kyllä mahtuu mukaan.

Muuta mukavaa suunnitteilla AD 2011:

Parhaat F1 kisat täyspitkinä! Autoina RR Formula muodossa tai toisessa joten mallinnus alkaa olla huippua näissä kisoissa. Sarjan suunnittelijana toimii Kimmo Kokkonen joten radoista ja autoista ei jää toteutus kiinni. Ensi kokemukset RR Formuloitten fysiikoista Race07 alustalla vetäisi löysät pöksyyn allekirjoittaneelta joten tämä on ehdottomasti vuoden kohokohtia.

Jouluna ajetun SSR-SRS Christmas Cupin siivittämänä päästään taas maaottelumakuun Mumo vs SRS haasteen muodossa. Haasteturnauksen ajankohta osunee maaliskuulle.

WTCC palaa myös kalenteriin jossain muodossa. Asia on vielä pöydällä mutta onhan viralliseen kauden aloitukseenkin vielä aikaa.

Uusia ratoja, modeja ja skinejä SimRacingSuomen jäsenet etsivät ja nykyään myös tekevät entistä uutterammin joten liittyminen foorumille ja kisoihin kannattaa..

PS: Vuonna 2011 SimRacingSuomi järjestää (mahdollisesti) ensimmäisen kokoontumisen.. Tiedossa LANittelua, ajo-opetusta SRS:n parhailta kuskeilta ja muutama tölkki hupijuomaa..
