Tämän vuoden kohokohta on ylivoimaisesti kaikki pohjoismaat kattava Scandinavia Cup. Yksityiskohtia vielä hiotaan mutta paras uutinen saapui juuri: SimBin Studios sponsoroi cuppia tarjoamalle voittajalle koko Race07 julkaistun sisällön. Tämä tarkoittaa siis Race07, RaceON, GTR Evolutionin ja STCC:n lisäksi vielä julkaisemattomista 5 lisäosasta ne jotka ehtivät tulla myyntiin ennen Cupin päätöstä. Tämän lisäksi kakkos- ja kolmostiloista saa uudet lisäosat palkinnoksi.
Cuppiin ilmoittautumisia ei ole vielä aloitettu mutta jos oallistujia tulee tarpeeksi ajamme Cupin kahdessa divisioonassa. Tämä tarkoittaa että ilmottautumisia otetaan lähes 50kpl joten varmasti mahdut mukaan. Cupin suunniteltu alkamispäivä on 8.5.2011 ja kisa ajetaan sunnuntaisin klo 21:00.
Tämä tarkoittaa myös hiukan muutoksia SimRacingSuomen täyssuomalaiseen ulkoasuun. Etusivu tulee kääntymään englanniksi ja luultavasti sisältää ainoastaan Scandinavia Cupin tiedotusta; kisaraportteja, videoita ja pistetilanne tulee suureen rooliin. Foorumin rakennemuutosta ei ole vielä pohdittu mutta sielläkin tulee enemmän lontoota olemaan. Suomalaisia emme tietenkään unohda vaan suomenkielinen foorumi tulee säilymään joka tapauksessa.
Scandinavia Cup 2011
This year we have a real feature for all Scandinavian drivers. We just got the news that SimBin Studios will be sponsoring the prizes: For he 1.st place: The lot.. meaning everything published between Race07 and the upcoming GTR3 will up for grabs! Race07, RaceON, GTR Evolution and STCC plus all the addons that have been published at the time the cup finishes. For the 2nd and 3rd places gain you all the addons published..
The planning is still actively going on but the start date is scheduled 8.5.2011 and the races will be driven 21:00 EET (20:00 CET). The enrollment hasn’t started yet but if we get enough drivers we will be driving in two divisions with promotions and demotions happening between races. You can state your interest of joining at the forum: LINK (registration required for posting, can be done here: LINK) Everything is happening fast and the planning stages are in full swing so now is the time to make your voices heard the most, give as your suggestions.
This means a lot of changes in the website. In the past we have been exclusively Finnish racing community and that is about to change. This frontpage will become english and will contain all the important info about the Cup; race reports, results, videos and whatnot. The forum will get some of it too, the english section no doubt will play a bigger role there too.
